We sing songs from the  liturgy as well as songs connected to Jewish themes, holidays and traditions.
We sing songs in English, Yiddish and Hebrew.  We learn songs by ear, using audio recordings.
Singing together is a way to learn about Judaism, connect us to our culture and community, and  create a sense of shared identity and belonging.

Our singing group is named after Pereq Shira or ‘Chapter of Song – an ancient Jewish text in which every part of creation possesses its own song,
and its own place within the harmony of the universe.
